Ive got long hair, im considering getting layers, plz help?

Do layers look nice on long blonde hair, i'm not really a fan of going to the hairdressers lol. But it's just i need something doing with it . please tell me any ideas A.S.A.P Thanx x

I think that layers are the one look that looks good on ALL kinds of hair. It doesn't matter what lenght, color or texture you have. Just make sure you go to a good salon and they will make it look great!

Ye slayers do look nice on blonde hair my friend has them. But if you are wanting them go to a hairdressers or expect disastrous results! (unless you are or know some one that knows what they are doing).

Layers are a great option 100%, just make sure that you go to someone that knows how to do layers in long hair or you could end up with a shelf. (it when you end up with lots of short hair and not even layering) It's really hard to fix! Layers are great with long hair because they give you style and you can curl them and make them stand out or leave them/flat iron them to make them disappear. They will also give you more body and movement!!! You might want to try facial framing as well!! You'll look awesome!!

I did my own layering on my hair, all you gotta do is after you wash your hair, bend over and just go in a straight line with scissors, its simple and easy, your hair will look beautiful.

I think layered hair looks really nice, if you have had long straight hair for a while then you should just go for it, get it done proffessionally though. my wife did, she looks great. Im sure you will too.

When I went blonde in the past (OK, peroxide blonde) I had layers put in and my hair guy said it made sense also to take a couple of inches off the length because my blonde hair was too dry!

You might want to bear in mind how fine your hair is so you don't get 'fly-away' hair if layers are cut too short!

hi im a junior hairdresser go to a good salon for a consultation first they wil tell you wat they think there are so many ways to layer hair its unbelievable, just remember that if your layers are to short because if you want to put it it it wont go.lol but really just ask ther opinion o fet a book from your newsagent and anything that u like cut out and take with you and see wat they say. goodluck and have fun

sometimes layers on long hair can look a bit odd but if you don't have them too short! if ur keeping ur length then have a few choppy layers put in but have nice long ones I've found that always looks better than having really short ones and making it look like a mullet! lol x
