How do you curl long hair?

My hair is to my waist, i'd like to curl it, just big spiral curls, whenever i use a curling iron it only curls the ends because my hairs too long.. :(

I do it with my GHD's but it should work with any straightners.

You just hold the straightners at the root of your hair and then twist them towards your head while pulling them down through the hair. (as your hair is so long u will probs have to use both your hand so you dont hurt ur wrist) Its very hard to explain, so i would try practising a few times before you actually go out. Another tip i once u release the hair from the straightners just use ur finger to twist and curl the hair in the same direction, this will enhance the curl

put mousse on damp hair and do a few tight braids. when u wake up it wil be curly
